STAGE 01
Set the revenue target
Translate a monthly or quarterly revenue goal into the sales activity and closed deals implied by your assumptions.
Sales & Revenue Planning
Work through the connected questions behind a sales target: how much pipeline is needed, what it may cost to create, whether the team can handle it, when revenue may close, and how customer economics fit.
Use the stages in sequence or open only the tools relevant to your current decision. Each calculator is an estimate based on the inputs you provide; results are not a guarantee of future sales.
STAGE 01
Translate a monthly or quarterly revenue goal into the sales activity and closed deals implied by your assumptions.
STAGE 02
Estimate lead requirements, acquisition budget, and the volume of opportunities needed to support the target.
STAGE 03
Compare sales capacity with demand and account for hiring ramp and sales-cycle timing in your planning horizon.
STAGE 04
Put acquisition spending and customer value alongside sales volume to understand the broader economics.
Conversion rates, average deal value, sales-cycle length, attainment, and acquisition costs describe different parts of the same sales system. Revisit them together when testing a new target, changing headcount, or adjusting lead-generation spend. Avoid treating a single modeled result as a forecast without checking the assumptions against actual performance.
These tools are for planning and educational purposes. Actual outcomes depend on customer behavior, sales execution, market conditions, and the quality of the assumptions used.
