Estimated capacity / target

This is a capacity estimate, not a sales forecast. It assumes quotas are comparable and attainment is achievable across the team. Ramp time, territory differences, leave, sales-cycle timing, pipeline quality, and non-selling responsibilities are not modeled.

How the estimate works

Estimated team capacity is the number of active representatives multiplied by monthly quota per representative and expected quota attainment. The target gap is estimated capacity minus the revenue target. Deal and opportunity requirements are calculated separately from average deal value and opportunity win rate.

Quota capacity and funnel requirements are different views of the plan; they are not added together. Compare assumptions with actual performance and account for sales-cycle timing and team ramp.
