Funnel requirements
Estimated activity needed to reach the revenue target using the conversion assumptions above.
Continue the workflow
Carry this closed-deal target into the Marketing & Customer Growth Kit’s campaign planner to model the budget and lead volume needed to support it.
This is a simplified planning estimate, not a forecast guarantee. It assumes a consistent average deal value and conversion rates throughout the planning period; actual sales cycles, timing, deal size, and conversion performance may vary.
How the estimate works
The planner divides the revenue target by average deal value to estimate required closed deals. It then applies the opportunity win rate to estimate qualified opportunities, followed by the lead-to-opportunity rate to estimate the top-of-funnel lead requirement. Counts are rounded up to whole opportunities, leads, and deals.
Use conversion rates measured over comparable customer segments and periods. If your sales cycle extends beyond the selected planning period, the activity required now may not convert into revenue within that same period.
