Marketing & Customer Growth
Build a measurable marketing growth plan
Use a structured workflow for channel experiments, budgeting, conversion, measurement, and customer economics.
Five-stage growth workflow
Complete the stages in order or focus on the current decision. Channel outcomes depend on audience, offer, execution, and measurement; modeled values are estimates, not promises.
STAGE 01
Define the growth objective
Choose one audience, one offer, and one measurable action. Record the baseline, target, campaign window, and constraints before selecting channels.
- •Audience segment and customer problem
- •Offer and intended conversion action
- •Baseline, target, timeframe, and available capacity
STAGE 02
Plan channel experiments
Treat each channel as a testable hypothesis. Use the channel comparison planner to model separate budgets, lead costs, and conversion assumptions side by side. Separate organic distribution from paid spend and define the content format, cadence, owner, and learning goal.
- •YouTube: educational video, demo, or walkthrough
- •LinkedIn: expertise-led post, case study, or discussion
- •Facebook: community-oriented post, short video, or offer test
- •Website/email: destination and follow-up experience
- •Instagram: visual post, Reel, or Story test
- •TikTok: short-form video test
- •X: concise update or conversation test
- •Reddit: relevant community discussion, following subreddit rules
- •Pinterest: useful visual pin linked to a relevant resource
STAGE 03
Estimate lead volume and budget
Translate the target into leads and an indicative budget using explicit conversion and cost assumptions. Model channels separately where data permits.
- •Expected leads and cost per lead by channel
- •Budget ceiling and experiment duration
- •Tracking method and attribution limitations
STAGE 04
Review customer economics
Compare acquisition spending with customer value and order economics. Use consistent time periods and distinguish revenue from gross profit.
- •Acquisition costs included and excluded
- •Gross margin and retention assumptions
- •Payback and customer-quality signals to monitor
STAGE 05
Publish, measure, and learn
Create content drafts and a review cadence, then compare observed results with the original hypothesis. Keep human approval before publishing and validate platform-specific requirements.
- •Draft, review, approval, and publication owner
- •UTM or campaign naming convention
- •Weekly review: reach, engagement, leads, conversion, and spend
- •Decision: continue, adjust, or stop based on observed evidence
Keep the feedback loop grounded
Record the assumptions before launch, use consistent tracking, and compare actual results with the intended audience and conversion action. Do not treat reach or engagement alone as proof of customer acquisition. Content preparation can be assisted, but review and approve posts before publishing.
For planning and educational purposes. Results depend on actual audience response, channel conditions, offer quality, sales execution, and measurement practices.
