Sales Rep Ramp & Capacity Planner
Model how planned monthly hiring and onboarding ramp can change estimated sales team capacity over the next 12 months.
Hiring and productivity assumptions
New hires are assumed to start at one equal monthly cohort at the beginning of each month and ramp linearly to full expected attainment.

This is a capacity planning estimate, not a revenue forecast. It assumes a steady hiring pace, comparable quotas, and a linear ramp. Recruiting delays, attrition, territory availability, seasonality, sales-cycle timing, and differences in individual performance are not modeled.
How the estimate works
Current representatives contribute at the selected expected attainment. Each new monthly hiring cohort contributes a growing share of quota capacity over the ramp period, reaching full expected attainment after the selected number of months. The planner sums current-team and ramped-hire capacity for each month.
The model uses a linear ramp and consistent hiring assumptions to make staffing scenarios easier to compare. Actual productivity may follow a different curve and hiring dates may shift.
